The Summer 2010 issue of Precipitate is now live, and in a big way.
In this issue, we welcome an even greater number of thought-provoking writers and artists than our inaugural issue, including photographer David Maisel and poet Mackenzie Carignan. The journal itself has also seen a redesign to take Precipitate into the future of digital publishing. In line with our commitment to the rethinking of human relationships to place, we have created a site that encourages reader response and criticism, making Precipitate a collaborative space. Readers are now able to comment after each published article and to our new blog, and are invited to join our RSS feed and traditional mailing list to keep in the conversation. We have also adopted an online submission manager to make the submission process easier for everyone. Submit work today and tell us what you think about the system on our submission page.
We are very excited about this issue and we believe you will be too. View Precipiate: Summer 2010 at www.precipitatejournal.com.
I’m so impressed with the quality of the web redesign. Fantastic!
Wow. Great work all around. Every aspect of the site is so enjoyable - a nice place to spend some time.
Your summer issue is beautiful and the showcased work is very stimulating, the authors/artists endearing. As someone who knew the Precipitate journal back when it was a mere novel thought between a couple incredible writers/teachers from UNR, I can say that I am so proud of this online work of art and the ongoing dedication put forth to make it such a wonderful place to sit, read, think. Congratulations to the 4 of you. Keep up the passion and the great work.
